Our dental x-ray manikin Ray, comes along to all sessions so that your team can safely expose images without exposing your team members. The RCDSO 3D Binder preparation takes the worry out of the RCDSO 3D inspection. All documents are provided for a smooth, stress free inspection. Our team can answer any questions regarding panorex or intraoral quality assurance protocols and processes. Lily Bracic-Ronalds RRDH B. Ed
Owner/Consultant
Lily opened The Xray Expert Inc. with 27 years teaching experience as Faculty at George Brown College. Her roles include Clinical Coordinator for the Dental Assisting Program and Radiography Coordinator for all Dental Programs (DA, DH, DT, DD, RRDH). Lily was also the Digital Technology Training Manager for Canada for Carestream Dental for 16 years. She has owned a Digital Training Company since 2020. Lily's education is as follows:
1986 - Graduated DA - George Brown College
1991 - Graduated Dental Hygiene - St. Clair College
1994- Restorative DH - George Brown College
2014 - B. Ed - Brock University

Brenda Barclay CDAII
Consultant - Ontario Base and Canada Coverage
Brenda's passion for radiography has provided many roles including Dental Radiography Technologist at the University of Toronto from 1995 to 2003, supporting radiologists in all specialities and research. . Brenda’s research involvement extended to companies that develop radiographic equipment. For the last 22 years, Brenda has worked as a radiography instructor at George Brown College. Her strength in radiography has allowed her to create and maintain course material, lesson plans and grading schemes. Brenda is also a Clinical Practice Evaluator/Radiography Coordinator for the National Dental Assisting Examining Board. She provides feedback to candidates as well as supervise those challenging the Clinical Practice Evaluation. Brenda’s love of teaching and radiography has brought her to The Xray Expert where she is a natural fit.

Crystal Miller RDA
Consultant - Alberta Base and West Coast
Crystal graduated from KDM Dental College Dental Assisting program in 2004. She has enjoyed her 19 year career so far. She is presently working in a high paced dental office and is so excited to use her knowledge and skills as a dental technology Consultant with The Xray Expert Inc. Crystal's love of learning prompted her to add the orthodontic module in 2016 followed by her preventive dentistry module through SAIT. Crystal is very tech savvy which makes her the go-to team member in her office when people need help. She loves to use technology which was very apparent when Lily trained her team on the Dexis Intraoral Impression scanner and Carestream sensors.

Sonia Sicotte DA
Consultant - Quebec Base and East Coast - French and English speaking
Sonia has over 25 years of dental experience and is currently working in a multidisciplinary practice in Quebec as an Office Manager and Coordinator. She oversees day to day processes and team management. Sonia also assists the OMF surgeon during various surgical procedures.
Sonia graduated in June 1998 from Centre Professionnel in QC from the Dental Assisting Program. Sonia has worked in general dentistry, oral surgery as well as the endodontic specialty in both QC and Massachusetts.
In 2005, Sonia achieved the Xray Certification from The Massachusetts Dental Society. Her love of learning has kept her engaged in continuing education courses. Some of these include HIPAA, courses from Toronto Implant Institute, Treatment Planning and Functional Occlusion and Infection Control.
Sonia has always had a passion for radiography and a comfort in the digital dental world. Her outstanding ability with 3D (CBCT) and Intraoral scanning has made her a perfect fit with The Xray Expert Team. Sonia is able to train sensors and intraoral impression scanning in both English and French. She is currently in the process of 3D certification as a Trainer.

Joanne Ignatov CDAII
Radiography Consultant - Canada
Joanne graduated DA from Career Canada College and then completed her Level II Dental Assistant designation from George Brown College over 30 years ago. She brings 7 years’ experience as a dental educator having taught at George Brown College in the early 2000’s and at Anderson College.
Joanne also worked in clinical practice for 21 years in Orthodontic specialty, Oral surgery, Endodontics and General Dentistry. She completed her Orthodontic Module from University of Western Ontario.
Joanne is a volunteer with Gift From the Heart, a non-for-profit organization that gives back to the community for people in need of dental treatment. She also traveled to Nunavut to assist with dental treatment.
Joanne is the founder of The Dental Assisting Collective helping to empower Dental Assistants to be successful in their professional development.
Joanne has a passion for teaching and dentistry.

Megan Ronalds BScH
Megan Ronalds graduated from Queens University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science Honors and is starting her Law Degree at University of Windsor in September 2025. She taught at Queens University in the Psychology labs until she completed her Thesis Program. Megan has been in charge of Regulatory Binders at The Xray Expert for many years with an attention to detail. She began training panorex machines putting together her love of teaching and science.

Sarah McKinlay BA Hons., RDH, M.Ed.
Sarah graduated from George Brown Polytechnic with a diploma as a registered dental hygienist, McMaster University with Bachelor of Arts degree and most recently from the University of Ottawa earning a Master’s in Education, specializing in Teaching Health Professions.
A passion for teaching developed early in Sarah’s career as she spent over a decade working at a teaching hospital with orthodontic fellows at Sick Kid’s Hospital. In private practice she was privileged to co-ordinate learning opportunities for fellow professionals and train newly hired hygienists. An opportunity presented to return to George Brown as a clinical instructor for the RDH program where she embraces her love of learning and her joy in sharing clinical pearls.
She currently divides her professional time between a private practice orthodontic office and teaching both theory and clinically at George Brown and Georgian College.
